We are pleased and excited to invite you to attend our twenty-fifth Annual Conference which will be held at the Historic Hyatt Century Plaza in the heart of Los Angeles this October 14-16. Given the initial interest in attending this year’s Annual Conference we expect that this will be the largest Conference in recent memory.
This Annual Conference will have a number of interesting subject matter areas for its Attendees to choose from. Legislatively speaking, Congress reauthorized the Higher Education Act and in California after more than five years of struggle we are expecting that we will have a new State oversight law to work with starting in January, 2010. Our State has a new Massage Council which will license massage professionals. We will offer multiple workshops and general sessions which will consider the ramification of these Legislative events.
This has been an historic year on many accounts. The sinking economy, disappearing credit markets and downsized public education all are playing a part in changing the delivery of private postsecondary education and training services.
